Man buying drugs allegedly robbed at knifepoint in Pickering

TORONTO – Police are searching for three suspects after a man was allegedly robbed at knifepoint while trying to purchase drugs in Pickering.

Durham Regional Police say the victim was attempting to buy marijuana on Dec. 21 around 2:55 a.m. in a park beside Valley Farm Public School when he was approached by three men armed with two pocket knives and a small machete.

It is alleged the suspects then chased the victim, ordered him to lay face down and managed to steal his cellphone and wallet.

Police say the first suspect is described as male, with a light brown complexion and approximately 5’ 6” tall. He was wearing a face mask, blue jacket and jeans, and spoke with a Spanish accent.

The second suspect is described as a male, light brown complexion and approximately 5’ 6” tall. He was wearing a black and white bandana around his face.

The third suspect is described as a male, black and approximately 6’ tall. He was wearing a black jacket.
