SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Public Library (SPL) was told to come back a leaner budget at Monday’s city council budget meeting. The SPL was hoping for an increase in funding in order to hire 15 new full-time employees, mostly for the new Stonebridge branch.
Over the past ten years, SPL has only added around 3.4 new full-time employees.
