MIAMI – Florida prosecutors are considering a boot-camp program that could significantly reduce jail time for a Canadian diplomat’s teenage son charged in a fatal shooting.

The Miami Herald reports that prosecutors told a judge Monday that 15-year-old Marc Wabafiyebazu met the requirements to enter the six-month program. Participants receive behaviour-modification courses, job training and drug treatment.
