HAVELOCK, N.B. – New Brunswick RCMP say they found e-joints in a drug seizure last month — the first time Mounties in the province have found marijuana in that form.
Police said the electronic marijuana vapour cigarettes were discovered in a drug bust when they searched a vehicle near Havelock on Oct. 25.
Tests have now confirmed they are e-joints, which Cpl. Martin Hachey said are becoming increasingly popular because they are odourless.
A 39-year-old man who was driving the vehicle has been charged with three counts of possession of controlled substances for the purposes of trafficking and three counts of trafficking controlled substances.
