CALGARY – Investigators are searching for two men thought to be involved in a fatal shooting in Monterey Park this summer.

Police were called to the 7000 block of California Blvd. N.E. on Saturday, Aug. 22 after an injured man was found lying on a driveway.

David Quach, 27, was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds but later succumbed to his injuries.

Police charged Said Raed Abdulbaki, 20, with second-degree murder in August, but said on Thursday they were searching for two additional men thought to be “directly involved” in the incident.

Investigators said the suspects were seen in the area at the time of the homicide in a silver older-model compact car with a black driver’s side door.

A Crime Stoppers re-enactment of the attack was filmed on Thursday morning.
