French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo published a defiant message in wake of the Paris attacks that killed 129 people last week.
The cover of the magazine’s first edition since Friday’s attacks, published Tuesday, features a man drinking from a glass while holding onto a bottle of champagne as the alcohol spills from holes (apparently bullet holes) in his body.

“They have the weapons. F*** them, we have the champagne,” reads the cover headline.
In January, gunmen attacked the magazine’s Paris office, killing 12 people. The publication had previously drawn condemnation and threats from Muslims for publishing caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad, among other controversial cartoons.

January’s attack led to worldwide rallies in the name of free speech and press freedom. In its wake Charlie Hebdo published a cover featuring a caricature of the Prophet Mohammad holding a sign that read “Je suis Charlie” (I am Charlie).
Friday’s co-ordinated attacks killed 129 people and left another 350 injured.
