SASKATOON – A man charged in a string of armed robberies in Saskatoon will remain in custody until his next court appearance. Christopher James Seed, 21, appeared in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday after being picked up by police last week.
Seed was arrested late Friday night after man armed with a handgun robbed a business in the 200-block of Betts Avenue.

Police believe he is responsible for at least nine armed robberies in the city since Oct. 31.
Seed is facing nine armed robbery charges, one of an attempted armed robbery and 10 charges of wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence.
He is expected back in court on Wednesday.
