Man dies after falling from building in Surrey

A 44-year-old man is dead after falling from a Sandman Hotel  in Surrey this morning.

Surrey RCMP say the man “possibly” fell from the 13th floor of the hotel, which is located in the 10600-block of 151A Street.

Police arrived on the scene at about 10 a.m. to find the man, who was a resident of Surrey, on the ground at the back of the building.

He was unresponsive and paramedics were unsuccessful at reviving the man.

Mounties are asking anyone who may have had contact with man prior to the incident, or witnessed his actions before falling, or witnessed him falling, to call the Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
