Severe storms battered parts of Texas on Thursday as high winds ripped the roofs off homes in the area.
A tornado ripped a roof off a building in Fort Worth and damaged several cars in the parking lot.
Heavy rain and hail were also reported in the state. More rain and unsettled weather is expected Friday evening.
The tornado passed within a quarter mile of the National Weather Service office in the city, allowing the meteorologists to take more accurate readings.
The storms were part of a system that rolled through several states, including Arkansas and Missouri.
