Saskatoon’s food bank is looking for some community volunteers with green thumbs.
The charity is hoping to grow more fresh vegetables to give to people in need.

The idea is for volunteers to plant and then look after a patch of a community garden.
Providing fresh produce is a priority for the food bank.
Over the past two growing seasons roughly 12,700 kilograms of vegetables have been grown and distributed.
