HALIFAX – Halifax police have concluded their search for a man carrying a long gun.
Officers responded to a call around 4 a.m. on Wednesday that the man was walking on the Bedford Highway near the Windsor Street exchange.

Police officers, along with K9 units, searched the area but were not able to locate the man.
There was no indication whether the man is a risk to the public.
Police did not provide a description of the suspect.
