CALGARY – Global Calgary meteorologist Jordan Witzel made his debut on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver—but not for his forecasts.
In a segment called “Oh sweet Jesus, they’ve put the weather forecasters in costumes too” posted to YouTube on Sunday, Witzel was featured alongside other local TV personalities in his Halloween costume.
Witzel delivered the weather forecast for southern Alberta in his Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume, a character from the Ghostbusters movie franchise.
“Generally mild through the city and surrounding areas, four in Airdrie, six in Okotoks and in Cochrane…Bragg Creek still a little bit cooler,” said Witzel, as Oliver’s audience erupted into laughter.
