The second car accident; which sent two men to hospital, happened in Nanaimo at about 7 p.m. on Sunday night. Mounties said a 43-year-old man driving a Plymouth Voyager van crossed the centre line on Woodbank Road and hit a Honda CRV that had a 51-year-old man and his two kids, ages 11 and 8, inside.

The driver of the minivan broke some bones and was airlifted to hospital while the man in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and the children were not hurt.
