Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Halifax’s South End

HALIFAX – A driver has been ticketed after a 26-year-old woman was hit while in a crosswalk.

Halifax Regional Police said the collision happened at 6 p.m. on Sunday at Tower Road and Inglis Street.

The vehicle was turning left off of Tower Road when it struck the woman. She was treated for minor injuries.

A 55-year-old man from Stewiacke was issued a ticket for failing to yield in a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
