The ratings for the Supergirl premiere have been nothing short of super, with Global announcing that the much-anticipated series premiere starring Melissa Benoist as the “Girl of Steel” was watched by a whopping 1.7 million Canadian viewers, taking Monday night’s top spot in all the key demos, including adults 18-34 and adults 25-54.

Ratings were just as spectacular on the other side of the border, with the Supergirl premiere also ranking as the season’s top new series premiere in the American Nielsens.
