A Michigan man’s quest for dough left him hanging for 11 hours after he got stuck in a pizza oven vent.
Police say a parolee with a history of breaking and entering was attempting to rob a Cracker Barrel Pizza Store on Sunday by breaking in through a vent in the roof.
According to CBS, the 32-year-old man got stuck in the exhaust air duct and had to scream for help.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s department responded to reports of a screaming man and eleven hours later, the fire department was able to free him from his tight situation.
Police say he was uncooperative after he was freed. He was arrested on the spot then taken to a hospital for dehydration and minor injuries.
The unidentified man had already served time for a 2005 home invasion. He was on parole at the time of the incident for a breaking and entering charge and possession of a controlled drug in 2012.
Formal charges haven’t yet been laid, but police posted this cheeky reaction to the incident on Facebook.
