Liberal Ken Hardie elected in Fleetwood-Port Kells

Ken Hardie has an early lead in the riding of Fleetwood-Port Kells.

Liberal Ken Hardie has been elected in the riding of Fleetwood-Port Kells.

Harkie took 46.9 per cent of the vote, beating out Tory incumbent Nina Grewal, who finished with 29.3 per cent.

Garry Begg of the NDP finished third with 21.5 per cent.

In the last election, Grewal was re-elected to a fourth term, defeating NDP candidate Nao Fernando by 14.7 per cent.

Liberal: Ken Hardie, retired TransLink communications spokesman
