COTE-ST-LUC – With the election less than a weekend away, it seems the riding of Mount-Royal continues to be the site of acrimony.
Liberal candidate Anthony Housefather is angry over a recent wave of flyers distributed by Conservative Robert Libman’s campaign.
The flyers quote Irwin Cotler, the incumbent Liberal MP of the riding, in a manner that Housefather contends is misleading.

“It comes out like Cotler’s endorsing Libman,” Housefather said.
“But Cotler’s behind me.”
Libman’s campaign contends the Cotler quotes, taken from a McLean’s magazine article, are portrayed accurately.
Cotler may not endorse him, Libman admits, but that doesn’t mean the quotes in the flyer aren’t accurate.
Cotler did not respond to comment requests.
