TORONTO — Toronto police are seeking public help in identifying the suspect in a violent sexual assault early Saturday morning.
Police said a 28-year woman was brutally attacked at approximately 3 a.m. after exiting a TTC bus in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue East.
A man reportedly followed her off the bus, approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her, punching her in the head repeatedly.
Police said he then fled in a northerly direction.
The suspect is described as 25-35 years old, with a medium complexion and a skinny build, 5’9”-5’11”, with short black hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan waist-length jacket.
