One man has been injured and taken to hospital following a black bear attack on a hunting party near Prince George, B.C.
A conservation officer said two men were in a tent in the Torpy area, which is about 100 kilometres east of Prince George, when the bear attacked. One man was able to grab a firearm and shoot the bear, killing it.

David Karn with the Ministry of Environment said the man’s injuries are currently unknown but that he was taken to a hospital in Prince George.
