SASKATOON – More than 150 students from across central Saskatchewan are ready to combat bullying in their schools and communities. They gathered at TCU Place Thursday to celebrate the end of an intensive two-day anti-bullying training program put on by the Canadian Red Cross.

Participants attended presentations from Pink Shirt Day co-founder Travis Price, former Saskatchewan Roughrider Luc Mullinder and people who experienced bullying first-hand.

“It’s too late to train the adults on what’s going on,” said Red Cross youth ambassador Chelsie Christison, “So if we get the youth now to understand that bullying’s not okay and how to approach situations, I feel like we’re going to have a brighter future.”
