WINNIPEG — The Assiniboine Park Zoo is celebrating Thanksgiving by giving the animals pumpkins to play with, eat or destroy in whatever way they’d like as part of the Thanksgiving Fall Festival until Monday.
Staff captured these pictures of animals from a Muskox to cockroaches posing with their new treats.
Tickets to the zoo are 25 per cent off until the end of the festival. Daily activities include a photo op station with the heavy horses, pumpkin presentations to the animals and a Tundra grill. For more information check their website.
