WATCH: Face to face with the Calgary Flames’ key players

The Calgary Flames were one of the NHL’s best stories last season.

A 20-point improvement in the standings lead to the team’s first playoff appearance since 2009, and the first series victory in 11 years. While happy to be back in the post-season, no one was satisfied with a second-round exit at the hands of the Anaheim Ducks.

With a healthy Captain Mark Giordano and the addition of off-season acquisitions defenceman Dougie Hamilton and forward Michael Frolik, anticipation for the 2015-16 season is at an all-time high.
