LETHBRIDGE – Despite being outshot 41-33, the Kelowna Rockets put more pucks in the net than the host team in a Sunday game in Lethbridge.

Gage Quinny lead the offense with two goals and an assist as the Rockets skated to a 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Returning from injury, Rockets goalie Jackson Whistle was named first star after stopping 38 of 41 shots he faced.

Tyson Baillie, Dillon Dube, Justin Kirkland and Tomas Soustal also scored for Kelowna which improved to 4-2-0-0 on the young season.

Monday is an off day for the Rockets who close out a four game Alberta road trip Tuesday against Medicine Hat.
