Things are getting hairy at an Austrian village for the World Beard and Moustache Championships.

Over 300 contestants from 20 countries have arrived at Leogang for the event which takes place every few years.

Beards and moustaches are being judged by a jury in three groups: moustache, partial beard and full beard.

Here’s a selection of some of the finest specimens.
