WINNIPEG – Super fans of the reality show Big Brother are getting their shot at becoming the show’s newest house guest.
Hopefuls started lining up at 6 a.m. Saturday at Centre Court at Polo Park Shopping Centre where casting directors are holding auditions until 2 p.m.
By the time auditions started at 10 a.m., dozens of Winnipeggers were in line hoping to get a shot.
“I’m super outgoing. Hopefully that pushed me through,” said house guest hopeful Brett Lowe. “Some people might say I’m cocky, but i have confidence. If you don’t think you’re number one you won’t be number one. I’m hoping they saw that in me and they’re willing to take me.”
Season 3 house guest and Winnipegger Johnny Colatruglio was also on hand to give tips to those auditioning and said his experience on Big Brother Canada was life changing.
“This is a huge opportunity. Big Brother literally saved my life,” said Colatruglio. “It was the best experience I ever had, the most fun. I may not have won the show but I had the best time ever. I met some amazing people.”
The fourth season will start airing on Global TV next winter and as in past seasons, there’s a $100,000 prize on the line.
