Former Global Winnipeg employees win BAM awards

WINNIPEG — Former Global (CKND) employees Joe Pascucci and Tim Jones were recently honoured by the Broadcasters Association of Manitoba.

Pascucci, a long time fixture on the Winnipeg sports scene has moved into the BAM Hall of Fame.

For over 30 years he provided viewers with insightful, knowledgeable and often humorous commentary on the world of sports.

Jones was a man behind the scenes and says he preferred it that way.  Over three decades at Global he worked his way through numerous departments like engineering, operations and finally station and sales manager.

Jones was honoured with the Broadcast Excellence award that is presented to the individual who has deemed to have made significant contributions to our industry.
