UPDATE: RCMP say Colton Ballantyne was located at the beginning of October 2015.

Two Saskatchewan RCMP detachments are asking for help in locating a missing teen. Colton Ballantyne, 14, has been missing for more than three months.

He was last seen in Prince Albert on June 21. Police officials say efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful to date and they want to contact him to make sure he is safe.

Ballantyne is five-foot nine, 126 pounds with a slender build, black hair and brown eyes. He has ties to Pelican Narrows and the Peter Ballantyne First Nation.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ballantyne is asked to contact their local police detachment, Prince Albert RCMP at 306-765-5500, Pelican Narrows RCMP at 306-632-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
