3 charged in Niagara raid that netted drugs, cash and weapon

ST. ANNS, Ont. – Three people have been charged following a drug raid Thursday in Niagara Region.

Niagara Region police searched a home in St. Anns and seized nine Fentanyl patches, 390 hydromorphone pills, 286 oxycontin pills, 80 grams of crystal meth and 63 grams of cocaine which they say has a potential street value of $45,000.

Police also seized $17,250 in currency, a prohibited weapon, digital scales and other items.

A 39-year-old man, Sebastian Blaszyk, has been charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Also charged was 59-year-old Ewa Blaszyk and 23-year-old Rachelle Smith.

A fourth person was arrested at the scene for an alleged parole violation.
