Driver killed in crash near Lake Louise

CALGARY – One person was killed in a collision near Lake Louise on Wednesday.

The crash happened on Highway 93, about six kilometers north of the Saskatchewan River Crossing, at around 1:20 p.m.

RCMP say a southbound Honda Civic collided head-on with a northbound motorhome after crossing the centre line.

The driver of the Honda Civic was killed in the crash.

The occupants of the motorhome, one man and one woman, received minor injuries but didn’t require medical treatment.

Officers haven’t yet released the identity of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin.
