Daycare workers fired after allegedly encouraging ‘Fight Club’ on playground

A pair of New Jersey daycare workers have been fired after allegedly encouraging pre-schoolers and kindergartners to brawl on a playground while they recorded a short video for social media.

Teacher’s Assistant Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28, were immediately let go according to Jaclyn Falzarano, Lightbridge Academy‘s vice-president. Falzarano has so far refused to comment when asked why nobody else saw the incident.

Kenny allegedly held the camera at the Cranford facility while the pair went so far as to reference the Brad Pitt film Fight Club as they used Snapchat to share clips of the brawling tykes.

The daycare has not acknowledged the incident on social media as of this writing, but did offer statement.

“As parents and caregivers, we are shocked and saddened by this isolated incident and we have assisted the prosecutor’s office from the start of its investigation into this matter,” the statement read.

“While no children were physically harmed during this incident, we have a zero tolerance policy for anyone who acts in conflict with the core value of Lightbridge Academy – the safety and well-being of children.”
