TORONTO – A 33-year-old Toronto man wanted on an arrest warrant for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl during the past year has surrendered to police.
Kurt Charles turned himself in at Toronto police’s 31 Division at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday. He has been charged with forcible confinement, assault, three counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, uttering threats and invitation to sexual touching.
Investigators allege the suspect befriended the female victim between August 2014 and 2015 in the Jane Street and Grandravine Drive area and she was sexually assaulting during that time.
Charles is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Ave. West on Friday at 10 a.m.
