KELOWNA – Rainfall friday morning may be a factor in a roll-over crash in East Kelowna.
A woman was driving on Spiers Road at about 9:30 a.m. when her vehicle went off the pavement to the left.
RCMP say she over-corrected and struck an embankment on the opposite side of the road which flipped the Volkswagen onto its roof.
The driver, in her mid-20’s, has a few minor scratches.
Police say she may have been driving too fast for the wet road conditions.
However, she won’t be given a violation ticket as an officer says the driver has “learned her lesson”.
