UPDATE: TransLink names new board members, takes a break on CEO search

The transit authority added two new appointees — former Vancouver Police Chief Jim Chu and former City of Surrey manager Murray Dinwoodie. Former CEO of Westminster Savings Credit Union Barry Forbes has been named the new chair.

TransLink will also pause the recruitment process for the CEO until the newly appointed board members have had time to get up to speed.

TransLink has been going through a major shakeup recently, shedding two top-level executives in July.

Earlier this month, TransLink rolled out its one-fare zone system, making many concerned it will create a two-tier transit system.
