SUV rolls, car goes through fence after south Edmonton collision

EDMONTON — Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a collision in south Edmonton early Thursday morning. The two-vehicle crash happened around 2 a.m., on Ellerslie Road near 85th Street.

The crash caused a black Acura car to plough through a fence, narrowly missing a home, and a red Honda CR-V was left heavily damaged after rolling.

There were no serious injuries. The eastbound lanes of Ellerslie Road were closed while the scene was cleaned up.

On Thursday morning police were also called to a crash scene in west Edmonton, where a motorcyclist was left in critical condition after his bike hit a parked car.
