WINNIPEG – Police have taped off a section of road between Main Street and Logan Avenue after reports of a serious stabbing.
Just after midnight, police say a call came in for reports of a woman being stabbed in the upper body. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
Police remain on scene outsidet of the Manwin Hotel on Main Street Tuesday morning. The roadway has been re-opened.
Several evidence markers have been put out by police. The Forensic unit was also called to the scene.
Officers say two people have been arrested and remain in custody.
There is no word on what caused the incident.
