The show must go on: Snowbirds fly high in Penticton despite downpour

PENTICTON — It wasn’t the weather organizers were hoping for, but the downpour didn’t stop crowds of people from taking in the spectacular sight of the Snowbirds in Penticton Wednesday.

The high-flying poised precision had crowds in awe, with pilots sporting more than 50 maneuvers and formations.

The last time the stunning show took over the Penticton sky was back in 2013. This year, it was the opening night festivity for Peachfest.
