TORONTO — Canada’s Seth Rogen has made it onto the annual Forbes list of the world’s highest paid actors.
The 33-year-old B.C. native debuted at No. 26 in the 2015 rankings, which were published Tuesday.
Forbes estimated Rogen earned $17 million last year, including $6.5 million for his role in the 2014 made-in-Vancouver comedy The Interview.
The list was compiled using estimated gross earnings for the 12 months prior to June 1, 2015.
Rogen is one of 12 newcomers on the list — and the only Canadian. He beat leading men George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
According to Forbes, Robert Downey Jr. is the world’s highest paid actor with an estimated $80 million haul. He is followed by Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Adam Sandler.
There are three actors named Chris on the list: Chris Hemsworth ($27 million), Chris Evans ($13.5 million) and Chris Pratt ($13 million).
Matt Damon is estimated to have made $25 million, beating his buddy Ben Affleck’s $19.5 million.
