WEST GORE, N.S. – The Nova Scotia SPCA is appealing for the public’s help in tracking down the owners of 14 dogs seized last month.
The organization says its cruelty investigations team responded to a call to a property in West Gore July 22.

Officers seized 14 beagles including seven puppies.
Since the seizure officials have not been able to find the owners.
The SPCA says the dogs were assessed and appear to be in good medical condition.
The adult dogs are up for adoption and can be visited at the Dartmouth shelter.
