WINNIPEG — Monday, August 3rd marks the first Terry Fox day. Here is a list of what is opened and closed.
All Major Shopping Centre’s will be open between 10 a.m and 6 p.m . (St. Vital, Polo Park, Portage Place, Kildonan Place, and Garden City) are open until 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Grant Park is open until 5:00pm.
Liquor Marts will also be open from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Movie Theatres are open as is The Forks Market. The Assiniboine Park Zoo is open until 5:00 p.m.
The Winnipeg Art Gallery is open on Monday from 11:00-5:00pm. The Manitoba Museum is open until 5:00pm on Monday. Canadian Museum for Human Rights from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
All Lesuire centres will be closed on Monday. Spray pads will be open from 10:00am-9:00pm. Winnipeg Public Libraries are closed. All city of Winnipeg pools are closed Monday.
Transit service is running on a regular Sunday schedule on Monday.
And the recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Monday as a collection day.
