A 22-year-old male has been charged with second degree murder following an assault at a Fort Nelson residence on July 29.
Mounties were called to a home at 6:30 p.m. for a report about a serious assault. The 30-year-old victim was rushed to hospital but later died of their injuries.

Joshua Edward Dillion has been charged with second degree murder and is in custody until his next court appearance in Fort St. John on Sept. 9.
Police will not be releasing any further information at this time.
