KELOWNA — Have you paid your property taxes yet?
The City of Kelowna is reminding residents to do so before midnight on Tuesday, August 4 otherwise you could be hit with the second tax penalty.
The city says if you don’t pay on time, you’ll be dinged with a five per cent penalty for outstanding taxes after Tuesday.
The city discourages residents from mailing in payments because the due date is so close and it may not arrive on time. Instead, you can pay through the following methods:
• Online or by phone
• Drop boxes at City Hall
• Revenue Branch front counter at 1435 Water Street
