WATCH: The Weeknd is on fire in ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ video

TORONTO — Canadian singer The Weeknd unveiled the official video for his hit single “Can’t Feel My Face” on Tuesday.

The song, which leaked online in May and was released in early June, is from his upcoming second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness.

Billboard named it one of the “10 Best Songs of 2015 (So Far)” and Spin heralded the song as “pop perfection.”

“Can’t Feel My Face” was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart dated July 25 as well as No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 6 on the Pop Songs chart. The Weeknd first topped the Billboard Pop Songs chart in May with “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.

The Toronto singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye shares a songwriting credit on “Can’t Feel My Face” with Swedish hitmakers Max Martin and Peter Svensson and U.S. songwriter Savan Kotecha and Iranian-born producer Ali Payami.

In the video, The Weeknd performs “Can’t Feel My Face” in a nightclub filled with patrons who don’t get excited until the singer heats up — literally.
