Saanich Police are hoping the public can help them identify a man involved in a recent sexual assault. The assault occurred on July 18 at 12:30 a.m. in the 3600-block of Quadra Street, between Falmouth Road and Tattersall Drive.
“A woman, in her early twenties, was walking when she was grabbed by a man and forced into a nearby yard. The woman sustained minor injuries,” says Sgt. Paul Lamoureux.
The woman described the man to police as being 24 to 45 years old, about 6 feet tall, wearing all black and a brimmed hat that covered his face.The investigation is ongoing and police are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve this crime.
