Zachary Levi is leading Global TV’s reboot series “Heroes Reborn”, and the actor reveals the scoop about the mystifying superhero plot to ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli at Comic-Con.
“My character’s name is Luke Collins and his wife Joanne Collins, they lose their son in what is considered a terrorist attack that is blamed on people’s abilities,” he reveals. “So we take it upon ourselves to avenge our son’s death by wiping our world clean of people with abilities.”
But the TV series is just one of many projects that is keeping Levi busy right now. The actor is also looking forward to reprising his role in Disney’s “Tangled” franchise with 2017’s TV series.
“We always kind of sat around going, ‘is there going to be more? Are we going to do a sequel?’ And then they announced a ‘Frozen’ sequel and I was like ‘what do you mean?'” he says.”Then they announced they were going to do an animated series and I was like ‘rock and roll!’ So it’s going to be a fun adventure.”
