Crews are monitoring a 105-hectare fire on the east side of Whitesail Lake in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, about 90 kilometres east of Houston, B.C.

The fire, which is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike, is not threatening any structures.

The B.C. Wildfire Service says smoke may continue to drift into the communities of Southside, Francois Lake, Houston and Burns Lake.
