MONTREAL – Marien avenue, in the city’s east end, has been closed off after a water main break.
Water started pouring out onto the street around 2 a.m.
The area remains closed between Dorchester and Sainte-Catherine street East.
“The travaux publique has to dig down to get the leak,” explained André Leclerc with the Montreal police.
“They [commuters] could go up on Broadway to avoid this street.”
