WestJet flight from Vancouver to Toronto lands in Calgary after bomb threat

WATCH: Five threats to aircrafts in the last week have created chaos for passengers and crews, and many are hoping whoever is responsible will be caught. Heather Yourex updates the investigation.

TORONTO – Another WestJet flight was the target of a bomb threat Wednesday after the airline said flight #WS722 from Vancouver to Toronto was diverted to Calgary International Airport where it landed safely.

WestJet said via Twitter they believed the threat against Flight 722 to be a hoax and diverted the flight out of an abundance of caution.

It’s the fourth time a WestJet flight has received a threat in the last five days and the fifth incident involving a WestJet or Air Canada flight in the past week.
