REGINA – The wildfires in Northern Saskatchewan have forced some evacuees down to Regina.

Around 720 people from the Red Earth Cree Nation and Ile-A-La-Crosse are currently at Evraz Place and the University of Regina with more evacuees expected to arrive in the city at some point on Tuesday.

The Red Cross is supplying evacuees with food and shelter while they are forced from their homes.
