CALGARY – Police are asking Calgarians to avoid McKnight Boulevard near the airport as a precaution while they investigate the discovery of what appears to be a smoke grenade.

Police were at the northeast scene on Monday night. The incident stemmed from a traffic stop around 6 p.m. but police didn’t provide additional details.
